There’s no risk of the Fire Safety Stick accidentally going off from dropping, bumping and/or general hard wear. The activation of the Fire Safety Stick is very deliberate, as it needs a person to use the mechanism. If you were to drop it, no worries, as long as you still have the bottom cap (striker) and the black tip on the top remains firm and in place, there is no means to be worried about its functionality.
