Why are fleets making the immediate switch?
Traditional extinguishers

No Servicing
Think about it.
Every time a fire extinguisher/s needs servicing, there's an inferred carbon footprint to perform the checks. The fuel and materials used to call out a technician and carry out a service on a premises or vehicle.
With the Fire Safety Stick, everything is done IN-HOUSE.
No callout. No materials used. No additional carbon footprint.
Recyclable & Non-toxic
The Fire Safety Stick is fully recyclable after use, contains no PFAS, and is non-toxic.
It is well documented that the environmental impact that traditional extinguishers have, with the materials used, harmful chemicals released, and the use of landfills when disposed of.
The Fire Safety Stick can be broken apart, after use, and appropriately recycled domestically, without the use of professional disposal services usually used to remove traditional extinguishers.
Lightweight
Vehicle fleets can save 2kg+ of weight per vehicle.
The most common powder extinguisher weighs 2.2kg, and the Fire Safety Stick weighs from 215 grams.
Use this to save fuel across hundreds to thousands of vehicles.
Add more goods to each vehicle, and reduce the cost per vehicle by increasing profit per trip.
Or, keep the weight down to ensure each vehicle stays below the weight limit.
15 Year Shelf Life
A typical powder extinguisher has a shelf life of 5 years.
The powder could be recertified for a further 5 years (at a cost) or, more commonly, replaced. In contrast, the Fire Safety Stick has been tested and proven to last at least 15 years.
Less waste, fewer materials used, lower costs.

Case studies of the Fire Safety Stick with fleets

South Yorkshire Police
In an important step forward for frontline emergency response, South Yorkshire Police are now equipping every one of their frontline vehicles with the Fire Safety Stick — a revolutionary fire suppression device that’s compact, lightweight, and highly effective in early-stage fire scenarios.
This marks a significant milestone not only for the force but also for a growing movement among UK emergency services to adopt smarter, faster, and more practical fire safety solutions that meet the demands of real-world frontline conditions.

Post Office
After discovering the Fire Safety Stick at the Commercial Vehicle Show, they continued their interest with Kings Secure Technologies Ltd in further conversations.
Today the Post Office have the Fire Safety Sticks in 300 cash-in-transit vans and a further 75 in mobile branche vans. They replaced their existing 1kg and 2kg powder extinguishers and found huge improvements in fleet fuel efficiency due to the weight saving, cutting out servicing costs each year and, if a a fire occurs, the Fire Safety Stick won’t contaminate the goods with messy powder or foam.

Kent Fire & Rescue Service
“Are fire and rescue services aware of the Fire Safety Stick?”
This is a question we get asked a decent amount, and the answer is “increasingly!”. As shown by Kent Fire & Rescue implementing the Fire Safety Stick for their fleet of officer response vehicles. Allowing them to have a quick response fire tool to stop fires at their early stages, whether it’s a fire in/on the vehicle itself or a fire they come across whilst out on the road.

Do you need to meet ADR, PSV or RSA?
The Fire Safety Stick is perfect as an immediate replacement for traditional extinguishers for 80% of all vehicle fleets, however, at this time, it cannot ‘replace’ extinguishers in vehicles that need to follow regulations provided under ADR, PSV or RSA.
A consideration you could entertain, if you must adhere to ADR, PSV or RSA regulations, is to have the Fire Safety Stick as an additional/complementary firefighting tool.
Why not ADR (UK)?
The Fire Safety Stick, while highly effective, compact, and easy to use, cannot be used to replace traditional fire extinguishers under ADR (European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road) regulations. This is not due to any issue with the device itself, but rather because ADR rules are very specific about the type, size, and certification of fire extinguishers that must be carried on vehicles transporting dangerous goods.
It can, however, be used as an additional/complementary firefighting tool to bolster the fire safety of a vehicle.
Why not PSV (UK)?
The Fire Safety Stick, with its compact design and clean, effective discharge, offers many benefits, but it cannot currently replace traditional fire extinguishers required under PSV (Public Service Vehicle) regulations. This is not a reflection of its performance, but rather because PSV regulations set out very specific requirements for fire extinguishers on board passenger-carrying vehicles.
It can, however, be used as an additional/complementary firefighting tool to bolster the fire safety of a vehicle.
Why not RSA (Ireland)?
The Fire Safety Stick brings a number of clear benefits; it’s compact, easy to use, requires no servicing, and doesn’t leave any mess after use. However, under current RSA (Road Safety Authority) regulations, it cannot replace the traditional fire extinguishers legally required on certain vehicles. This limitation isn’t due to the effectiveness of the Fire Safety Stick itself, but rather because RSA rules are very specific about what constitutes an approved fire extinguisher.
It can, however, be used as an additional/complementary firefighting tool to bolster the fire safety of a vehicle.
If these do NOT apply to you the Fire Safety Stick will be a perfect solution for vehicle fleets of any size
