  • What is the Fire Safety Stick?

The Fire Safety Stick is a revolutionary type of fire extinguisher designed to provide fast, effective, and clean fire suppression in a compact, lightweight form.

Unlike traditional fire extinguishers that typically rely on a pressurised canister, the Fire Safety Stick uses a unique solid compound that produces a powerful aerosol when activated. This aerosol interrupts the chemical reaction of fire, extinguishing flames quickly and efficiently.

At its core, the Fire Safety Stick offers a safer, simpler, and more versatile way to protect people and property from fire.

  • What fire classes is it certified for?

It is certified for multiple classes of fire, including:

Class A – Combustible materials like wood, paper, fabric etc.

Class B – Flammable liquids like petrol, diesel, oil etc.

Class C – Gases such as propane, butane etc.

    Electrical Fires up to 100,000v.

Class F – Cooking oils and fats.

Please note: It is not certified for coal, charcoal and lithium-ion battery fires.

  • How big is the Fire Safety Stick?

Its lightweight and compact design makes it easy for anyone to use – children, elderly individuals, or those who may struggle with the bulk and force of a standard extinguisher.

    Its dimensions are 270mm x 35mm (FSS50) or 330mm x 40mm (FSS100).

Weighing from 215 grams or 365 grams, and about the size of a flashlight, it’s highly portable and perfect for keeping in your car, kitchen drawer, backpack, or toolbox.

  • Is the Fire Safety Stick safe?

The Fire Safety Stick is safe to breathe in and has been tested to be safe in a 3㎥ room.

It is non-pressurised, so there is no chance of accidental discharge or pressure loss if dropped or knocked.

Eco-conscious users will also appreciate that the Fire Safety Stick is non-toxic, environmentally friendly, recyclable and safe for humans and pets.

  • What is the discharge time?

It emits a stream of fire-suppressing aerosol that lasts between 50 and 100 seconds, depending on the model size.

This gives you enough time to suppress a fire or create a safe escape path. Alternatively, you could activate the Fire Safety Stick and throw it near the fire, close the door behind you, while you escape to safety meanwhile the Fire Safety Stick vapour fills the area, repressing (slowing) the fire in your absence, resulting in a smaller fire when the fire and rescue services arrive.

  • Does the Fire Safety Stick have a shelf life?

It has an incredibly long shelf life. The Fire Safety Stick has a lifespan of 15 years or more, with no need for professional refilling or servicing.

This is in contrast to traditional extinguishers, which should be annually serviced to maintain the best possible chance of proper discharge, and many of them expire after 5 years (unless recharged, which requires a service).

  • Does the Fire Safety Stick leave any mess?

The Fire Safety Stick does not leave any corrosive mess or residue.

Traditional extinguishers often discharge foam, chemicals, powder, or water, which can cause significant damage to electronics, machinery, and property after the fire is out.

In contrast, the Fire Safety Stick’s vapour dissipates cleanly, making it ideal for use in homes, kitchens, garages, vehicles, boats, and other sensitive environments.

  • Does the Fire Safety Stick need annual servicing?

A major advantage the Fire Safety Stick has over traditional fire extinguishers is that it’s service-free.

There are no moving parts, pressurised tanks, or chemicals that degrade over time. This makes it especially convenient for individuals, homeowners, vehicle owners, and businesses looking for a low-service-cost fire safety solution with long-term reliability.

Over 15 years of shelf life with only a recommended visual inspection that any responsible person can perform, and an inspection logbook for businesses that need it.
