  • What is the Fire Safety Stick?

The Fire Safety Stick is a revolutionary fire extinguisher for fast, effective, and clean fire suppression in a compact form.

Unlike traditional extinguishers with a pressurised canister, it uses a solid compound that produces a powerful aerosol when activated. This aerosol interrupts the chemical reaction of fire, quickly and efficiently extinguishing flames.

The Fire Safety Stick offers a safer, simpler, and more versatile way to protect people and property from fire.

  • What fire classes is it certified for?

It is certified for multiple classes of fire, including:

Class A – Combustible materials like wood, paper, fabric etc.

Class B – Flammable liquids like petrol, diesel, oil etc.

Class C – Gases such as propane, butane etc.

    Electrical Fires up to 100,000v.

Class F – Cooking oils and fats.

Please note: It is not certified for coal, charcoal and lithium-ion battery fires.

  • How big is the Fire Safety Stick?

Its lightweight, compact design makes it easy for anyone to use, including children and elderly individuals. It is ideal for those who struggle with the bulk or force of a standard extinguisher.

    Its dimensions are 270 mm × 35 mm (FSS50) or 330 mm × 40 mm (FSS100). Weighing just 215 g or 365 g, it’s about the size of a torch.

Highly portable, it fits in a car, kitchen drawer, backpack, or toolbox.

  • Is the Fire Safety Stick safe?

The Fire Safety Stick is safe to breathe and has been tested in a sealed 3㎥ room. It is non-pressurised, eliminating any risk of accidental discharge or pressure loss if dropped or knocked.

Eco-conscious users will appreciate that it is non-toxic, environmentally friendly, and recyclable. It is also safe for humans and pets.

  • What is the discharge time?

It emits a stream of fire-suppressing aerosol lasting between 50 and 100 seconds, depending on the model size. This duration gives enough time to suppress a fire or create a safe escape path.

Alternatively, you can activate the Fire Safety Stick and place it near the fire, then close the door behind you. As you escape, the vapour fills the room, slowing the fire in your absence. This often results in a smaller blaze when the fire and rescue services arrive.

  • Does the Fire Safety Stick have a shelf life?

It has an exceptionally long shelf life. The Fire Safety Stick lasts 15 years or more without refilling or professional servicing.

Traditional extinguishers should be annually serviced to ensure reliable discharge. Many expire after five years unless recharged, which always requires a service.

  • Does the Fire Safety Stick leave any mess?

The Fire Safety Stick leaves no corrosive mess or residue.

Traditional extinguishers discharge foam, chemicals, powder, or water, which can damage electronics, machinery, and property after a fire.

In contrast, the Fire Safety Stick’s vapour dissipates cleanly. This makes it ideal for homes, kitchens, garages, vehicles, boats, and other sensitive environments.

  • Does the Fire Safety Stick need annual servicing?

A major advantage of the Fire Safety Stick is that it is completely service-free. It contains no moving parts, pressurised tanks, or chemicals that degrade over time. This makes it convenient for homeowners, vehicle owners, and businesses seeking a low-cost, reliable fire safety solution.

It offers over 15 years of shelf life, requiring only a simple visual inspection. An inspection logbook is available for businesses that require one.
