Fire Safety in your Boat

Have you got a fire extinguisher in your Boat / Yacht / etc ?

Perishing fuel lines, overflowing carburettors or wiring loose connection boats are more prone to fires than modern vehicles. And of course our pride and joys cannot be easily replaced by insurance. Then there is also the fire risks within the galley.

Here’s the really amazing thing though, it leaves no mess and no residue from it at all. All powder and foam extinguishers leave such a mess that, regardless of the fire, your engine and bodywork could well be ruined as a result. Watch our videos demonstrating just how amazing the Fire Safety Stick is for boats as well as motorhomes, or any vehicle.

The Worlds Lightest

From just 215g, it’s the most compact Fire Extinguisher.

15 Year Shelf Life & No Servicing

Traditional extinguishers typically last 5 years and must be serviced annually

No Mess or Residue

Traditional extinguishers often create more damage than the fire

All Major Classes of Fire

Even kitchen/galley fires. No dangerous gambling if you have the right type

Longer Discharge Times

Min discharge time is at least 50 seconds, compared to a 1kg dry powder extinguisher which is just 7 seconds.

No Servicing

Unlike traditional extinguishers, the Fire Safety Stick requires NO annual servicing!

The Fire Safety Stick, leaves no mess or residue during activation. Typically you would have a powder or foam extinguisher but during discharge, they can create more damage than the fire itself. If activated over an engine, it will destroy that engine with its caustic contents. Being stuck at sea without working engine is far from ideal! We have heard back from FSS customers who have had an engine fire, extinguished it and still managed to use the engine afterwards to get home. Also, the FSS is totally waterproof, it can still be activated whilst wet and once in use it is just as effective it in the rain.

Another great feature of the Fire Safety Stick is depending on the size of the fire, capacity of the stick and size of the room or cabin, you can activate the stick and instead of fighting the fire yourself, simply leave it in the cabin, closing the door. The Fire Safety Stick will continue to emit its active molecules and rppress the fire accordingly.

Case Studies

“This was just what I was looking for – a fire extinguisher that is light, effective and does not leave a mess. I hope I never have to use it but I am very glad to have one in the Caterham and another in our Airstream trailer.”

“Nice & lightweight & easy to fit in space. Hopefully it will work if it’s ever needed, with luck I won’t be finding out!”
